truth

in book of JOHN chapter 8 verse 32,it says..
"and you will know the truth,and the truth will set you free"
i wonder when is the time i should tell you the truth..
my friend told me "the truth hurts sometimes"
may be i just dont have that enough bold and courageous to tell you the truth..

P/s:when is the time..?i dont want to wait anymore..
