Your decision today determine your tomorrow

While i was facebook-ing.
I come across my status on 29 august 2009,which is same date with today.

i wrote,
"never thought this path is harder from what he thought.but he never regret taking this path.GOD will strengthen me."

Yeah,
sometimes in life we feel so pressure,feel like giving up or feeling unable to move forward anymore in this path of life you have chosen.

BUT
Don't give up!
It sounds really easy to just saying it but it takes millions of effort to work it out.

Life always doesn't come easy.
Its full of trials and storms in life.

Are you regret for taking this path?
Regret making the decision to walk on this narrow path?
Well,no worries=)

Jesus is still in control of everything in your life.
Even if you do not know HIM.
Don't give up!
Be Bold,be Strong and be Courageous!

I choose to rise and i will rise above the storm with HIM.=)

Have you pay it forward?

When is the last time you offer your help to someone that needed it?

I watched a movie called "Pay it forward"
This movie talks about a young boy just entered high school and
was asked by his class teacher to do an assignment.

The title of the assignment is
"Think of an idea to change our world-
and put it into action"

Challenging huh?

So this boy by the name of Trevor decided to help people who is in need.
His idea of helping is not just simply like carrying stuff,lend a few bucks or to offer someone a cup of coffee.
His idea of helping is to do something for the person that him or herself can't help with.
Simply means if you lost your phone,the idea is not lending you a phone to call but to give you a phone.
If you are broke,the idea is not just lending you a few bucks but to offer you shelter,food,clothing till you are able to help yourself.

Its something like more than just helping.
And,
normally in any case when you helped someone,they will return you a favor.
The idea of Trevor is when he successfully helped a person,
that person will return the favor to another 3 people.
Then the another 3 people return favor to another 3 people.

It's something like a pyramid system.
Trevor wanted to help 3 person in his life.
A drug addict guy
His teacher
and his friend.

He successfully helped all of them but he died in the end.
The way he wants to help his friend is not letting his friend got bullied anymore.
So,he got himself into a fight while protecting his friend and he was accidentally murdered.

2things i learned from the movie is that,
dream BIG but start small.
We often wanted to do big things in life but we never wanted to start small.
Jesus said "if you cant be faithful in little things,how can you be faithful in more things?"
we often say "WE WANT TO CHANGE THE WORLD INTO BETTER PLACE"

BUT
have you already taken your first step?

the 2nd thing is that,
if christians can helped people in need and not expecting the favor back but to hope the favor will help others.
Isn't it like spreading the love of Jesus every moment?

Head not the tail

Jesus said that HE made us all to be the head and not the tail.
It means that we all are overcomer in every tough time and challenging situation.

But the real question is how many times we are just be the tail and we just remain there.
Many times in life we are defeated by fear.
And it just silenced us from being an overcomer.

In our studies
you study day and night.
Pray to GOD day and night and just before when you are about to face your exam.
You shrink in fear thinking that whether can you make it or not.
You haven't even start doing the exams and all you have in mind is that you are already defeated,you are not good,you won't make it.
Then how can you ever overcome your exams?

In working life,
we might face colleague that cheat and manage to get promotion,
it doesn't mean you need to do the same promotion.
GOD promises us that when we walk right with HIM,HE will reward us.
Just by obeying the LORD,you have just overcome the lies of the devil.

King david,who defeated the goliath.
The moment he picked up the stones and go to war with goliath.
He knows exactly what he is about to do.
He is prepared not just mentally but also spiritually.
He knows that he is going to do the possible and let GOD do the impossible.

We can't deny that in everyday of our life we face trials,challenges and tough situation.
But are you gonna overcome them and be the head and in control of your situation
or you are just gonna let your situation to crush you down?

If you fail today,
it doesn't mean you are gonna fail tomorrow.
If you fail tomorrow,
it doesn't mean you are gonna fail forever.

GOD will bring you through

We always think that GOD put us in such situation where we can't press on anymore and we just feel like giving up.
Or we are wondering why are we suppose to carry such burden or go through such process in life that are so pain or difficult.

Well,GOD won't bring you out from the circumstances but HE will bring you through that circumstances.
The reason is simply because HE wants you to learn.
Learning to be more responsible,to be more patient and many more.

GOD is always interested in your character.
HE wants to mould you to be more and more like HIM.
Caring,loving,kind,quick to forgive,slow to angry.
Just to be more and more like Christ.

If you are going through some tough times in your life and feel like giving up,
don't worry.
Seek HIM,pray to HIM.
HE will always lead you.
All GOD's plan are never meant to destroy you but to build you up!=)
